 Interesting book... Sep 06, 2010
Although some parts of this book may be difficult to read, its an excellent book. I found some very interesting pieces of information in this book that apply to improving your health with or without cancer. The content of this book is old, but the information is still current today. The type of research Max Gerson did, is not done today.... Medical research today is only interested in inventing the next pill, not addressing the root cause of health problems. One interesting claim in this book is that the pancreas produces enzymes that fight disease and illness. Eating large amounts of meat loads down the pancreas and limits its capacity to fight illness. This book and others have convinced me that we eat too much meat today. I have changed my diet to mostly vegetarian, eating meat only at 1 meal per day. I find parallels with the diet regemin in this book to other books such as: Norman Walker's juicing book, Herbert Shelton's books, and Weston A Price's book on nutrition and physical degeneration. It also ties in well with the concept of Acid Alkaline Balance. If you're serious about your health, whether you are sick or not, I highly recommend this book. It adds more pieces to the puzzle. I found amazing pieces of information in this book that I've seen nowhere else. If I had cancer, I would follow their regemin to the letter OR attempt a prolonged fast per Herbert Shelton's book... the choice would depend on the type of cancer. I don't think you can say any treatment works in 100% of the cases, but this seems way more appropriate than the conventional approach to cancer.... The conventional approach has you kill your body with poisons while also killing the cancer... I find that approach highly risky. Even if a person were to go the conventional route with chemotherapy, I think you would benefit highly from the nutritional advice in this book.

If you want to understand the nature on how to cure "incurable dieases" then read this definately. Moderate medicine did not and would not help me. The first week of doing the diet therapy some symptoms that I've had for years all of a sudden started to dissappear. The doctors could not tell me whats happening to me but that I should stop it immediately. If you don't have the money to do the whole therapy at least by the book and read it. You could be saving your life if not someone else's.

This material is the BEST Max Gerson material for the medical professional or anyone else who wants documentation of The Gerson Therapy and how it helps the body to heal cancer and other chronic diseases.
This book is Dr. Gerson's great work, written just before he died by cynide poisoning. When he died he was working on his second book which would have been the "results of one hundred (100) cases in the cure of advanced cancer". Sadly this is the only book of Max Gerson, MD, that was published before his death. You can read more extensively about Dr. Gerson's life in Dr. Max Gerson: Healing the Hopeless.
If you are interested in trying the Gerson therapy then you will want the companion workbook guide called the Gerson Therapy Handbook: Companion workbook to A Cancer Therapy- Results of Fifty Cases. Another option is to get the most up to date and latest Gerson work called Healing the Gerson Way: Defeating Cancer and Other Chronic Diseases.
In this record you can read about 50 patients cured of advanced cancer. Eating healthy rewards Nov 27, 2009
I decided to change my eating habits in May 2009, found out about the Gerson way to eat healthy after dropping some weight. Went vegetarian prior to finding out about Gerson, and this make it solid in mind that vegetarian is the only way to go!!!!!!!!
